Vibes Naidoo – CMH Opel Manager
1. How long have you been in the motor industry and with the CMH group?
18 years in the in the motor industry. I started off in 1999 at East Rand Delta showroom, then promoted to Parts sales executive and at Hyundai at age 21 I was the youngest Parts Manager in SA. In 2005 I started in sales at Honda, was promoted to Sales Manager within 2 years and then Dealer Principal by 2014 and finally General Manager of Honda.
2. How long have you been involved in the Sales/Manager departments?
I have been actively involved in sales and management since 2005, excelling in each role, climbing up the corporate ladder to finally head up the brand.
3. What has been your biggest challenge?
Leaving the franchise motor industry to head a private business which prompted a return to the competitive market.
4. What is important to you in the role that you now occupy?
To rebuild the structure of the Opel brand and facing all the challenges that come with it. Supplying quality and high-end service as well as a great brand to the customers and maintaining great customer and business relations
5. What can you contribute towards your success in your occupation?
Having a keen interest in vehicles from a young age, determination and hard work in whatever role I have occupied. Success being my greatest strength. Building customer relationships for long-term goals and ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile and returns every time.
